Beliefs
What We Believe
At Crossroad Church, our beliefs form the foundation of everything we do. We are a Bible-based, Spirit-filled community that stands firmly on the eternal truths found in God’s Word. Rooted in the Truths of God, our faith is vibrant, relevant, and transformative.
Here’s what we believe:
- The Scriptures Inspired
The Bible is the inspired Word of God — without error and our ultimate guide in faith and life.
- The One True God
There is only one true and living God — revealed in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
- The Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died for our sins, rose from the dead, and is exalted at the right hand of God.
- The Fall of Man
Humankind was created good, but through disobedience, sin entered the world, separating us from God.
- The Salvation of Man
Salvation is a gift from God through faith in Jesus Christ. It is by grace alone that we are saved — not by our own works.
- The Ordinances of the Church
We practice two ordinances: Water Baptism by immersion and Holy Communion in remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice.
- The Baptism in the Holy Spirit
All believers are entitled to and should seek the baptism in the Holy Spirit, empowering them for witness and service.
- Sanctification
Sanctification is the process of becoming more like Jesus — set apart for God’s purpose, through obedience to His Word and the power of the Holy Spirit.
- The Church and Its Mission
The Church is the Body of Christ, called to fulfill His mission on earth — to worship, disciple, serve, and proclaim the Good News to all.
- The Ministry
God calls and equips believers to serve in ministry roles for the building up of the Church and the fulfillment of His mission.
- Divine Healing
Healing is provided in Christ’s atonement and is available to all believers through faith and prayer.
- The Blessed Hope
We believe in the soon return of Jesus Christ to gather His Church — our blessed hope and joyful expectation.
- The Millennial Reign of Christ
After His return, Christ will reign on earth for a thousand years, bringing peace and righteousness.
- The Final Judgment
Everyone will face a final judgment. Those who have rejected Christ will be eternally separated from God, while the righteous will live forever in His presence.
- The New Heavens and the New Earth
God will create a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells and His people will live with Him forever.
